Sollers holds workshop for potential partners in Tatarstan

The Tatarstan Industry and Trade Ministry, Tatarstan Association of Businesses and Entrepreneurs and Tatarstan division of the Federal Agency for Special Economic Zones Management will today hold a seminar called Increasing Cooperation between Sollers Plants and Local Goods Manufacturers, Auto Component Suppliers.

The workshop will take place on the grounds of the Sollers Yelabuga production plant. A display of components and mounts, planned for localisation, will be held here; a tour of the Sollers Yelabuga premises will be organised.

Participants at the workshop are auto component producers CEOs, representatives from ministries and departments, Tatarstan Association of Businesses and Entrepreneurs and other officials.

The workshop’s participants are to review main approaches to interacting with auto component suppliers in regards to auto equipment localisation, local and interregional collaboration in the auto industry.

Besides, the Federal Agency for SEZ and the Russian Registry Volga firm will report to the workshop prospects for the development of auto components manufacturing in the special economic zone Alabuga and implementing the Economical Production principles as a factor for improving companies’s effectiveness, says the Industry and Trade Ministry in a press release.
