Kazan to assemble best young athletes

Youth championship of Russia among athletes aged 20-23 (all-around) will be held in Kazan on June 15-19 at the Central Stadium.

The team of the Republic of Tatarstan has been formed based on results of the Volga Federal District in track-and-field, which took place on June 6-7 in Cheboksary.

22 athletes will represent Tatarstan at the championship, the press-service of Tatarstan Ministry on Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism informs. We expect victories from such athletes as Alsou Murtazina (triple jump), Tatyana Zhuravleva (discus throwing), Kristina Elchieva (high jump), Rinas Akhmadeev (5000 m), Sergei Mikhaylovsky (long jump), Aydar Gilyazov (110m hurdle race), Ruslan Bayazitov (400 m), Tatyana Shutova (5000 m).
