Tatarstan Prime minister inspects agrocultural producers in Alkeyev District

The Tatarstan Prime minister Roustam Minnikahnov has toured the Alkeyev municipal district.

He was accompanied by representatives from the Agriculture and Food Ministry and the investor whose farmsteads are located in the district, including Krasny Vostok Agro, reports the Cabinet of Ministers’s press service.

The Prime minister examined the animal breeding facilities, owned by Kransy Vostok Agro, and applied farming and crop production technologies.

While answering questions from journalists, Roustam Minnikhanov marked highly farming culture in the district. In his words, the animal breeding programmes implemented in the area comply with the major European projects.

“I have seen a serious progress on crop production. It is commensurate with the global standards and we will advertise in the other districts Krasny Vostok Agro’s expertise in technologies and modern approaches,” he said.

The went on to say that the company’s produce was highly competitive, enhancing that “it is a great achievement for the investor”. The head of Tatarstan government emphasised that all the equipment had been bought with the company’s own money and borrowings.

He enhanced that the interests of agricultural producers and commerce networks were for the moment diverse and that market regulation was failing, which posed more problems. Production firms are able to increase milk production but are facing the marketing and purchasing price issues, he gave an example.
