Czechia Tatars celebrate Sabantuy holiday

The national holiday Sabantuy took place in Czechia near the Vyzhlovka Lake. It assembled over 120 people all over Czechia.

Local Tatars and Czechs, and also representatives of other nations took part in the event. Guests from the Moravian village Dolni Vilemovitse who are going to organize the campaign “Following Tatars’ trace” in July 2009 also attended.

The holiday was organized by Tatar-Bashkir office of “Azatlyk” radio with participation of the Trade and Economic representation of Tatarstan in the Czech and Slovak republics.
