Tatarstan to receive 6 mln roubles for development of sci-tech ideas

A session of the working group on maintaining the system of youth’s scientific and technical creativity was held in Moscow as a part of realizing the Federal special-purpose programme “Scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia for 2009-2013”. Deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma from Tatarstan, Chairman of Russian Public Youth Chamber Viktoria Cherkesova represented Tatarstan at the session.

Realization of the Federal special-purpose programme is divided into two parts: the contest among students’ design-engineering bureaus and creative contest of models.

“According to the session results, a decision was made to supporting initiatives of Russia regions in development scientific and technical creativity of the young generation. The regions which took the 1st and 2nd places will receive equipment worth 2 million roubles. As a result of the discussion, the working group decided to allocate Tatarstan 6 million for development of scientific and technical creativity in aircraft and ship modeling design,” V. Cherkesova informed.
