3rd session of the RT State Council has opened in Kazan

The third session of the RT State Council of the fourth convocation took place on May 28. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the session.

Among the issues of major importance the deputies tackled was the bill "On introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2009 and for the planned period of 2010-2011".

Among other 50 items proposed for consideration were bills on activity of local self-government, a number of tax bills and statements of prosecutor's responses.
