Tatarstan delegation visits Universiade-2009 capital

A working group headed by Tatarstan Minister on Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Marat Bariev paid a visit to Belgrade, Serbia to discuss issues of organizing an internship of volunteers from Tatarstan during the XXV Summer Universiade.

Tatarstan delegation held meetings with the head of the Universiade executive committee in Belgrade Nebojša Ilić, Serbia Youth and Sport Ministry’s State Secretary Slavish Zlatonovich, and representatives of the Department for work with volunteers and management.

A contract on internship for 150 Tatarstan volunteers during the Universiade-2009 in Belgrade was discussed at the talks, Tatarstan Ministry on Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism reports. Representatives of Tatarstan delegation visited Belgrade student campus where the republican delegation of volunteers will be staying.

Tatarstan volunteers will arrive in Belgrade on June 24. They will take special trainings on June 25-28. They will be working at the Universiade until July 12 in 13 different fields. After the competitions, organizers will prepare cultural and entertainment events for 3 days.
