Yuri Gorshkov from Tatarstan will get UNESCO prize in Korea

The award ceremony of Michel Batisse Award for Biosphere Reserve Management is to take place this week in the Republic of Korea as part of the session of the Bureau of the International Coordinating Council of the Man and the Biosphere.

This year only two researchers will get the prize. They are Boshra Salem of Egypt and Yuri Gorshkov of Russia. Yuri Gorshkov is awarded the prize for his contribution to preservation and development of the Volga-Kama biosphere reserve. He is the director of the reserve.
