10th International allergology and clinical immunology congress opened up in Kazan

10th International congress of the Russian association of allergy treatment and clinical immunology specialists opened up in Kazan on May 20. This year it is dedicated to 100 years anniversary of Andrey Ado, initiator of the Russian allergology movement, member academician of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, who started his work in Kazan medical institute.

Opening ceremony began with the welcoming address of RT healthcare minister Airat Farrakhov greeting participants on behalf of Tatarstan government.

This year's congress brought together 1000 doctors from 65 cities of Russia, CIS and other countries, representatives of the European allergy and clinical immunology academy, leading medical specialists from Italy, France, Germany, Bulgaria and South Africa.
