Princess Ksenia Yusupova is visiting Kazan

May 20 saw an extraordinary event taking place in Tatarstan's National Museum. Princess Ksenia Yusupova, the representative of the famous aristocratic family, came to Kazan to take part in the presentation of the exhibition 'History of the family of princes Yusupovs. Kazan - Peterburg - Paris'.

The Yusupovs are an ancient dynasty with roots going to the East and a 350-year history of service to the Russian throne and 90-year biography in Western Europe (Paris and Athens) Princess Yusupova shared her impressions about the 1000-year-old capital of Tatarstan with journalists. "The visit to Kazan is o big importance for me. I love this city. It seems to me that I have lived here," the princess said in clear Russian. She went on to say that whet her granddaughters get older she will bring them to Kazan.

Ksenia Nikolaevna was moved by the tour of the Kazan Kremlin. "It is a miracle. Orthodox Christianity and Islam are combined here." She even said she felt herself Tatar in Kazan.
