Mayor of Kazan receives Order of Honour

The Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev has bestowed Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin with the order of Honour today in the Kremlin.

In accordance with the Russian Federation President’s Decree №513 from May 7, 2009, the head of the Republic of Tatarstan’s Kazan city municipal formation has been awarded with the Order of Honour for the achieved results and many years of conscientious work. Today Ilsur Metshin has been bestowed with the high award at a solemn ceremony in Moscow Kremlin.

In his welcoming speech at the ceremony, Dmitry Medvedev said that “representatives of different professions, jobs are attending the ceremony. And of course, ultimately, professional of the highest degree, who have proved their distinguished professional style and managed to achieve brilliant life and career results.”

The Order of Honour is a state award of the Russian Federation, which was established by the Russian Federation Decree №442 from March 2, 1994.
