Tatarstan is a victor of Russian Student Spring 2009

All-Russian Student Spring-2009 has become a triumph for Tatarstan. The team representing our republic won the festival’s Grand Prix. Moreover, Tatarstan participants received one more Grand Prix – in the field “Regional Programme”. In this nomination they shared the victory with the delegation from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Yugra).

Other results are the following: the first place in the team rating went to Saratov Province, the second place – to Tyumen, the third one – to Yugra. In the “Regional Program” nomination the first place went to Kamchatka Territory delegation, the second one – to Tyumen Province, the third one – to the team from Saratov.

The results were announced Monday at the final gala-concert of the festival at Pyramid complex.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin greeted the festival participants. He pointed out that the student spring in Kazan is not yet over, because Tatarstan is preparing for one more grandiose festival of youth – the Universiade-2013.
