Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communication Tatmedia has been reorganized

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev signed Decree №UP78 of May 15, 2009 “On the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communication Tatmedia”.

According to the decree, the Tatarstan Agency for Mass Communication Tatmedia was reorganized into the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communication Tatmedia based on the article 94 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On executive bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan government”.

The Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communication Tatmedia is Tatarstan’s executive body. It exercises powers on issues of public management in mass media and mass communication of Tatarstan in accordance with a corresponding statute.
