Tatarstan Premier takes part in opening of Kazan exhibition ‘Education. Career”

The 9th exhibition “Education. Career” has opened at Kazan Fair exhibition centre today.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Ayrat Shafigullin, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Albert Gilmutdinov, Tatarstan State Council Deputy Chairman Rimma Ratnikova, State adviser to Tatarstan President for social issues Tatyana Larionova took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov called the exhibition “Education. Career” an event which is and asked-for and topical. “During the crisis we need to gather and determine our strategy. Issues of education are of priority in work of Tatarstan Government at present. This includes formation of educational clusters. It’s important to show our youth what prospects they face in terms of further education. That’s why employees and educational institutions offering professions are presented at the exhibition,” he said.

The prime minister also indicated that the republican Government will support all educational projects. A serious republican educational programme is being developed at Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science at present.

Organizers of the exhibition are Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and social Protection, Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Kazan Mayor’s Office, and OAO Kazan Fair.

The exhibition serves as an excellent business venue, which provides a full range of necessary information. It presents work of 118 educational institutions and enterprises from 20 cities of the Russian Federation including Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Cheboksary, Yekaterinburg, etc. Participants of the exhibition are colleges, professional schools, language school, companies which offer individual training courses, recruitment agencies, employment agencies, and industrial enterprises.
