The auto producer Kamaz has resumed its main line’s operation, said the company’s press service.
In May, 2,009 frames are to be built, 1,920 trucks and component kits assembled and 1,967 delivered to customers. Besides, Kamaz divisions are manufacture spare parts for 363 million roubles.
On 4 May, Kamaz’s production and management services launched in a test mode the SAP system, allowing online control of the production run, facilitating account of components and improving the quality of planning.
The June production target for trucks and SKD kits is 2,162 units. It is noteworthy that amid the ongoing economic crisis, the share of orders from the Kamaz commerce and finance company, that sells autos on the free market, has increased in average 20 percent. In June, according to preliminary estimates, it is to near 60 percent.

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
