May 12, Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin met with the delegation of the Tatar community of the People's Republic of china. A few years ago, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev set a task to support and help representatives of the Tatar community of China get education in Tatarstan's universities. "University rectors supported this idea and this practice is expanding," the head of the Tatarstan Parliament noted.
