Canadian experts ready to share experience with Tatarstan executives

Canadian experts are ready to present their experience in state management effectiveness, development of federalism and anti-corruption work. Such an arrangement was reached during Tatarstan Economy Minister Marat Safiullin’s internship on the Russian-Canadian programme “Support to reforming state management in the Russian Federation”, the press-service of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy reports.

In April professors of the Canadian Academy of Public Administration will conduct a training for Tatarstan officials. The course will focus on fighting corruption and formation of federative relations.

A 7-day trip of Russian public sector workers and experts to Canada took place last week. In opinion of the Tatarstan Economy Minister, the technologies used in this programme contribute to rapprochement of the two countries’ public sector workers.

Participants of the internship got familiarized with the work of the Economic and Fiscal Policy Branch, Atlantic Provinces Economic Development Agency, its role in development of entrepreneurship and communities, learnt about the experience of the Strategic Policy Development Branch at Canada’s Ministry of Economic Development. Useful meetings with experts of the ministries of industry, innovations, trade and agriculture development were arranged.
