150 Tatarstan volunteers will go to Belgrade for training

14 April 2009, Tuesday
About 150 Tatarstan volunteers will get a chance to receive a training in Belgrade during the World Summer Universiade-2009. The contract with the Serbian side has already been signed. The training will last for 20 days during which the students will work with journalists, sportsmen and on sites.

A competition for those interested in going Belgrade as volunteer will be allowed in a few days. "We need young people who speak foreign languages. It is first of all for students as the Universiade is students' games," Vladimir Leonov explained. He said that those 150 people should become teachers for a big army of volunteers who will work during the Universiade in Kazan.
