To put Russian civil helicopters including Kazan's Ansat on markets of Latin America is one of the tasks the Helicopters of Russia company is tackling.

According to Mikhail Dubrovin, the head of the company's delegation to the Latin America Aerospace and Defence exhibition held in Brazil, they aim at broader civil helicopters market. Of 300 helicopters supplied to the region only 10 are used by civil companies. Our objective is to supply Mi-26T, modifications Mi-8, Mi-17, Ka-32 and new Mi-38, Ansat, Ka-226.

"We are aware that getting into the market is connected with numerous certification procedures for these helicopters in Latin America. It is not of less importance to have reliable services organized," Dubrovin said.
