Tatarstan PM: We are confident in reliability of defense of our peaceful constructive life

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov has congratulated people of Tatarstan on the Day of Motherland Defenders.

Dear people of Tatarstan!

On behalf of Tatarstan Government and on behalf of myself, I congratulate you on the Day of Motherland Defenders. On this particular day I would like to pay tribute to all who demonstrated courage, firmness, valor and bravery for centuries and helped the Russian state hold out.

Today we are confident in reliability of defense of our peaceful constructive life. Staff of the armed forces is consolidated, their professional skills, maintenance of facilities and equipment are improved. More attention is given to veterans who had contributed plenty of strength in maintaining combat readiness of the army and the navy. Army and labor traditions are being renewed. Much is done for patriotic upbringing of the next generation.

Our republic makes considerable contribution to increasing defense capability of the country. High potential of Tatarstan enterprises, which are a part of Russian military-industrial complex, is used in performing the most difficult defense orders. We are proud of our youth who adequately executes their military duty in subdivisions of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.

I wish you and your families peaceful sky, good health, success, optimism and confidence in the tomorrow.
