Turkish President Abdullah Gul on a visit to Russia

Abdullah Gul, the President of the Republic of Turkey, came on a state visit to the Russian Federation on Thursday February 12 till Sunday February 15. It is going to be the visit at the highest level in recent history of Turley-Russia relationship, Turkish diplomats said on the threshold of Mr Gul's coming to Moscow.

Mr Gul was invited to Moscow by Russian President Medvedev. The talks between the two leaders are to be held on February 13th. There is a wide range of bilateral and international issues on the agenda. Adbullah Gul will also attend the Russian-Turkish business forum in Moscow.

Abdullah Gul is expected to come to the capital of Tatarstan on a two-day visit on February 14th.
