Russian Internal Affairs Ministry to buy cars manufactured at SEZ Alabuga

As part of the state defense order it is purchase for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation around 1,300 automobiles, including minibuses FIAT and tow trucks on ISUZU chassis, the ministerial press-service reported.

All models to be bought for ministerial divisions in 2009 were presented at the expanded meeting of the Ministry on February 5-7. 16 various automobile models will be received at the Ministry in the first quarter of 2009 , among them are minibuses FIAT Ducato and trucks ISUZU made in the Special Economic Zone Alabuga.

Despite limited financing in 2009, efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will be concentrated on supplying new kinds of special equipment to divisions of law-enforcement bodies and in particular special divisions.
