Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Kazan scientist Alexander Konovalov on jubilee

January 30, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev congratulated chemist, academician of Russian Academy of Science Alexander Konovalov on the 75th anniversary, the press-service of the Kremlin informs.

The congratulation telegram reads: "Dear Alexander Ivanovich! My congratulations on your 75th jubilee!

Outstanding scientists, prominent founder of science, one of leading experts in organic chemistry, you gained respect among colleagues and numerous students. Your fundamental research in thermodynamics and synthesis of organic matters are used in different fields.

I wish you success, health and the best."

An extended session of Kazan scientific center of Russian Academy of Science was held in honor of A. Konovalov’s jubilee on January 30.
