February, Islamic academics of Russia and CIS will come together in Kazan

International theoretical and practical symposium “Islamic studies in modern Russia and CIS: progress, problems, prospect” will take place in the Centre of Eurasian and international researches of Kazan State University.

It is supposed that distinguished scientists, professors, representatives of clergy and public authorities will attend the capital of Tatarstan.

The objective of international symposium is the philosophic-theoretical and historic-culturological understanding of development experience of Islamic studies in Russian and countries of CIS for the last 20 years. The problems of modern Islamic thought, education, Koranistika, theosophy and religious studies will be considered there with the view of collaboration activation of domestic and foreign specialists in the field of study of Musclemen’s history and culture.

Symposium will be held in February 19-20.
