KAMAZ-Master returned to Naberezhniye Chelny

Residents of Naberezhniye Chelny had a chance to express respect and congratulate KAMAZ-Master team members on the victory in Dakar-2009 rally. Right after they had arrived in the city, the winners headed for "Azatlyk" square.

"This holiday is not only the victory of Naberezhniye Chelny," the city Mayor Ildar Khalikov said in a speech. "Many thanks to Director General of OAO KAMAZ Sergei Kogogin for his support, and to the team chief - Semyon Yakubov who brought up the team which can achieve victories at the most difficult rally Dakar.

Dakar participants confessed that they returned to the motherland with victory thanks to great support of fans. "The race was hard," the team head Semyon Yakubov said.

For your information: the year of 2008 in Naberezhniye Chelny was named the Year of KAMAZ-Master team. A street was named after the team in the city, Naberezhniye Chelny city administration informed.
