“Tatarstan” train – symbol of republic

The issues of cooperation between Tatarstan and Ministry of Railroads of the Russian Federation and, in particular, Gorkovsky railroad were discussed November 20 at the Kazan Kremlin during meeting of RT President Mintimer Shaimiev with the RF deputy minister of railroads Hasan Zyabyarov and chief of Gorkovsky railroad Shevket Shaidullin.

As Mintimer Shaimiev noted after the end of meeting, in issues of the railroad service - both in passenger and cargo transportation - the parties have decided not to lose pace and to move further the same accelerated rates as did it recently. Concrete measures of interaction are planned in the next year in the agreement on the further cooperation.

Today a new car fleet composition of a brand train "Tatarstan" which both on dynamics, and on comfort answers all modern technical requirements will be formed allowing to get in more comfortable conditions to the Russian capital and back. So, according to chief of Gor'kovsky railway Shevket Shajdullin, it is not simply a train, it is a symbol, the face of republic.

The agreement between RT Government and the Federal state unitary enterprise "Gorkovsky railroads" was signed November 20 at the RT Cabinet.
