Kazan Fair joined International Union

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev received a congratulatory telegram from President of the International Union of exhibitions and fairs of the CIS and Baltic countries, vice-chairman of the European branch of the Union of International fairs (UFE), director general of JSC "Lenexpo" Sergey Alekseyev on occasion of the exhibition centre JSC "Kazan fair" joining the UFE as a full member.

JSC "Kazan fair" was given the UFE mark for international exhibition "Intermebel" at the 69-th Congress of the Union of international fairs (UFE) in Munich (Germany) at the end of October. This became the ground for its acceptance to this organization. Now the UFE unites 190 full and 35 associated members from 73 countries of the world.

"I hope that this significant event will further increase the prestige of the Republic of Tatarstan at the international scene" the telegram says.
