Professional holiday of farm workers

The president of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev on behalf of the State Council the Cabinet of Republic Tatarstan and from himself personally congratulated the farm workers and workers of agricultural -industrial complex on Day of workers of agriculture and a processing industry.

The professional holiday of farm workers which is passing in fertile autumn time, for all of us is an event of special importance as these days we celebrate those who provides daily bread for the residents of our republic, is said in a congratulation. The second year in succession the republic receives unknown in former years harvest of a grain - over 5,7 million tons at productivity over 35 centners from each hectare. By productivity of a grain our republic is on the second place among all Russian regions, and on total grain yield - on the fourth. It is a real feat of grain-growers. In our climatic conditions such high results it is possible to reach only by self-denying work and due to development of high technologies of cultivation and protection of agricultural crops.

We today with confidence may tell, that inhabitants of our republic are reliably provided with meat, dairy products, potato, vegetables and other high-quality food stuffs of our own manufacture. Products by Tatarstan commodity producers becomes competitive and strongly occupies the niche in the food market.

Mintimer Shaimiev from all the heart wished the faкm workers and workers of agricultural -industrial complex health, well-being and new labour achievements for the benefit of native Tatarstan.
