Ufa meets Kurultai

Ufa meets the delegates and visitors of the II World Kurultai of Bashkirs, which opens June 14. About 1100 people are going to take part in the event. Bashkortostan is represented by the most numerous delegation of 579 people, the Russian regions - 187, the CIS - 30, more than 40 delegates arrived from foreign countries. In the evening of the same day, Ufa met the official delegation of Tatarstan arrived for participation in Kurultai led by President Mintimer Shaimiev.

Besides, the representatives of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation, Federal Assembly, deputies of the State Duma, well - known scientists and politicians will take part in the work of the forum.

The program of the II World Kurultai of Bashkirs is rather extensive, it includes discussion on most pressing issues at 12 workshops within two days. The cultural program for delegates and visitors is quite busy - visiting museums, theatres, participation in Sabantui which will pass on June 16 in the regions of Bashkortostan.
