The governmental delegation of Ukraine in Kazan

April 5, Kazan was visited by the governmental delegation of Ukraine led by the first deputy prime Minister Oleg Dubina .

The same day, at the Kazan Kremlin, the first deputy prime Minister of Ukraine Oleg Dubina was received by the RT President M. Shaimiev . During a meeting in which RT Prime minister R. Minnekhahnov also took part, the arrangement on attraction of investments on modernization of capacities of ZAO "Ukrtatnafta" (Kremenchug refinery, Ukraine) in volume of 200 million dollars was achieved.

Recently in mass media the point was under discussion on sale of 18 percent of re-privatized shares of "Ukrtatnafta", prior belonging to the American companies "Sea-group International" and "Am Ruz Trading". "Tatneft", being the shareholder of this joint Tatarstan-Ukrainian enterprise is interested in additional purchase of shares that would allow it to become the owner of a control package. In conditions of overstocking of the Russian markets in petroleum and its products and restriction of export deliveries "Tatneft" is interested in the market of Ukraine. However, by viewpoint of the first deputy prime Minister of Ukraine, today, the question on sale of shares is not so sharp, it is necessary to improve management, to develop technologies. Since August of the last year, according to Oleg Dubina, "Ukrtatnafta" has been operating profitably, the first quarter of present year also was finished with profit. As to deliveries of Tatarstan petroleum to JSC "Ukrtatnafta", as Mintimer Shaimiev informed the journalists, it is possible to guarantee their stability with confidence.

The general director of JSC "Tatneft" Shafagat Takhautdinov confirmed to "Tatar-Inform" correspondent that now the company monthly delivers to "Ukrtatnefta" up to 500 thousand tons of petroleum.

The Ukrainian delegation consisted of the executives of the Ministry of Economy and the European integration of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of fuel and power, state property Fund of "Ukrtatnafta" visited also the "Kazan Helicopters" and familiarized with last developments.
