Visit to Sweden

On March 25, the official delegation of Tatarstan led by President of Tatarstan Minitmer Shaimiev left for Sweden.

The trip is organized under the invitation of the Government of Sweden, the President of Tatarstan is accompanied by first vice-premier Ravil Muratov, State presidential adviser on international issues Timur Akulov, Minister of trade and external economic cooperation Khafiz Salikhov, heads of industrial and commercial enterprises.

The working schedule includes negotiations with the governmental officials of Sweden, visiting Skania and Eriksson, presentation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the region of Skone. The President of Tatarstan is to give a speech "Russia in regional prospect" in the Swedish Institute of international affairs.
