Birthday congratulations for President

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called Mintimer Shaimiev on January 20 to congratulate him personally. The same day Russian leader sent the Tatarstan President a telegram, saying: "You have devoted many years to the work in your republic. Your countrymen trust your experience and professionalism. It is with your name that they connect their hopes for dynamical development of Tatarstan's economy and social sphere, civil peace and solidarity". The Russian President expressed his confidence that "the republic will keep its status of a politically stable region, with the citizens confident in their future", and wished Mintimer Shaimiev and his relatives health, successes and well-being.

Congratulations were also received from heads of the Administration of the RF President, State Duma and Federation Council of RF Federal Assembly, RF Government, heads of federal ministries and departments, leaders of Russian regions.
