Act of terrorism should not divide the peoples

The only thing I am afraid of and at the same time hope it does not happen is that this mega-act of terrorism in the territory of the world's leading power is to divide the peoples on national and religious characteristics and lead to the opposition of countries, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev told journalists, back from Moscow on September 12.

Such a division will benefit nobody. Terror is terror, terrorists should be tracked down and punished, irrespective of their nationality and religion. It's impossible to answer the question of consequences, Mintimer Shaimiev said. If even America can experience such forms of terror, which one will never see in the most dramatic thriller, it is time for countries to unite, especially in the century of nuclear, hydrogenous and bacteriological weapon. What if it also comes under the wrong control!

Today everyone should make very serious conclusions. God save all peoples from a similar tragedy. Early this year I said that the last century was the most bloody, and expressed hope that in this century there will be less wars, bloodshed... But, unfortunately, the new century has started from the large-scale terrorist acts.
