Deputies of the State Duma in the Kazan Kremlin

People's Deputies of the State Duma from Tatarstan were received on July 19, in the Kazan Kremlin by RT President Mintimer Shaimiev.

In almost three-hour dialogue with people's deputies Mintimer Shaimiev has told about a situation in republic. All budgetary forecasts for this year are maintained, even there is some advancing. Volumes of production keep growing. For last six years the growth of GDP in the Republic has made 32 percents while as a whole on Russia this figure more than five times below and makes only six percents.



M.Shaimiev also has in brief touched the program of social economic development of the Republic approved these days by the Russian Government, a situation in oil-production branch, and also has stated the point of view on some aspects of legislative activity of the State Duma of Russia.



Deputies of the State Duma have expressed a wish to keep connection with a leadership of the Republic, to be it more systematic and that such meetings to be held regularly. The opinion of everyone is necessary for knowing before submitting the draft laws on consideration, extremely important to know a position of the Republic on those or other key issues.

The conversation was finished by the arrangement on signing the Protocol where the duties of deputies will be specified, the responsible officials determined for connections with the State Duma on the part of the President, the Government and the State Council of Tatarstan, the information interaction fixed lest to miss in the bills those "trivialities" which further will hurt very painfully the Republic, mentioned the chairman of deputy group "Regions of Russia" Oleg Morozov.
