Meeting between Vladimir Putin, Murtaza Rahimov and Mintimer Shaimiev was held

June 10, President of Russia Vladimir Putin has arrived in capital city of Bashkortostan Ufa where the national holiday Sabantuy was held. At the airport he was met by the presidents of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan Murtaza Rahimov and Mintimer Shaimiev and also by the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga federal district Sergey Kirienko.

Vladimir Putin, Murtaza Rahimov, Mintimer Shaimiev and Sergey Kirienko took part in holiday of Sabantui in the capital city of Bashkortostan.

This very day during the meeting of the President of Russia with members of Assembly of peoples of Bashkortostan the President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rahimov has offered Vladimir Putin to found a post of the assistant to the president of the Russian Federation on a national policy. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev supported the offer of M. Rahimov, having added, that it would be possible to create, for example, the council on a national policy under the President of Russia.

Besides, the participants of the meeting have offered to carry out All-Russia conference on interethnic problems and national politics of Russia in city of Ufa.

Prior the departure to Moscow Vladimir Putin has held a two-hour meeting with heads of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan - Murtaza Rahimov and Mintimer Shaimiev and with the plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Volga federal district Sergey Kirienko. During the meeting social and economic situation in the Volga federal district was discussed.
