Brilliant named " ICL - KPO VS"

The relations of ОАО "ICL - KPO VS", Japanese concern "Fujitsu" and British firm "ICL" have come to the next stage of cooperation. Probably, the Kazan enterprise will change its name to "Fujitsu - KPO VS", that means more support from Japanese partners and development of its possibilities.

The issue was discussed at the meeting of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev with delegation led by chairman of "ICL PLC" Board of directors, vice-president of "Fujitsu" Michio Naruto on May 15 in the Kazan Kremlin. The meeting was held within the framework of the two-day visit of the Japanese businessmen to Tatarstan.

The ОАО "ICL - KPO VS" experts, where "ICL" has 51 % of shares, are engaged in software, information technologies and operating systems development, partially- in computer production (not more than 30 %).

According to the RT President, the " ICL - KPO VS" work in 2001 allowed to implement the State Order on computerization of republican schools; the enterprise is recognized by such customers as Gazprom and the RF Ministry of Defense.

Michio Naruto said that "ICL - KPO VS" is a Їbrilliantю in the republican crown, and he is pleased with its performance.

"Fujitsu" vice-president is accompanied by representative of "Toyota" concern Tadao Mitsunda, who should " find in Tatarstan a firm to cooperate with". Cooperate is possible in the field of interactive technologies permitting active use of information, decision-making (examples are Internet shops, realization of interactive requests).
