Monument to a military duty

May 7, in Kazan before the building of Tatarstan Military commissariat the sculptural composition devoted to participants of Great Patriotic war, war in Afghanistan and other local conflicts was solemnly opened. The hero of Soviet Union Sabir Akhatyamov and reserve major Albert Kukharkin kindled Eternal fire before red granite monuments. The President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a solemn meeting.

In his statement he told, that with each year the memoirs on war become more dear for people and the days celebrating the Great Victory are filled with more contents. A composition which we have seen today, is a special one . Two monuments complement each other, they mean crossing of human destinies - the heroes of Great Patriotic war, soldiers - internationalists, participants of local conflicts.
