Inauguration of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan

The ceremony of inauguration of Mintimer Shaimiev elected the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was held on April 12 in the RT State Bolshoi Concert Hall.

Mintimer Shaimiev elected for the third term has sworn allegiance to the people and Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Attending the ceremony were numerous visitors, including Head of Administration of RF President A.S.Voloshin, Vice-president of RF Government V.I.Matvienko, Plenipotentiary of the RF President to the Volga federal district S.V.Kirienko, official delegations of Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Azerbaijan, leaders of republics and regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal authorities, leading Russian companies, prominent public figures.
