Congratulations to Mintimer Shaimiev

Numerous congratulation telegrams addressed to Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev are still coming in.

The heads of many home and foreign firms having a long-term business with Tatarstan congratulated M. Shaimiev with his victory on the passed elections. Many congratulations came from the heads of the largest oil and gas companies, enterprises of Russia and near foreign countries. Among them were chairman of board of RAO EEC А.Chubais and chairman of board of ОАО "Gazprom" Р.Vyahirev

Warm congratulations were received from public organizations and associations, political parties and movements, trade union figures. RF Chairman of Mufti's Council, chairman of Religious Moslems Government of European part of Russia Mufti sheik Ravil Gaynutdin writes in his telegram: "... Your triumphal re-election on the third presidential term by people of Tatarstan demonstrates a great confidence and gratitude of Moslems and Christians, and representatives of other religions ". Patriarchy of Moscow and All Russia Alexy, chairman of RT DUM mufti Gusman hasrat Iskhakov, Archbishop of Kazan and Tatarstan Аnastasy, RT Main rabbi I.Gorelik also sent compliments to Mintimer Shaimiev.
