Congratulations to Mintimer Shaimiev

Newly- elected Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is receiving congratulations during several days already. The numerous telegrams come from different people - Heads of federal state structures, diplomatic circles, presidents of republics, governors of regions and areas, heads of enterprises, political and public movements, foreign firms, news agencies, representatives of Tatar Diaspora.

Chairman of the RF Government M.Kasyanov, Chairman of Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly Е.Stroev, Chairman of State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly G.Seleznev congratulated Mintimer Shaimiev.

One of the first was RF ex-president Boris Yeltsyn who congratulated the Head of the Republic. "I am sure, that high standard of knowledge, experience and, mainly, support of population will help you to realize your plans", said B.Yeltsyn.
