Meetings in Moscow

November 23, at Tatarstan Rep-office in Russian Federation , President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev received Extraordionary and Plenipoteniary Ambassador of the French Republic to Russian Federation mister Claude Blashmezone.

During the meeting the parties have discussed a wide range of issues on development of Tatarstan -France economic, trade and cultural relations.

Mintimer Shaimiev and Claude Blashmezone have exchanged opinions about political situation in Russia, discussed implementation of a number of the joint projects.

Per the same day M. Shaimiev took part in the session of Scientific council of Academy of labour and social relations. This scientific institution formed in 1919 is engaged in preparing the trade-union staff and provides scientific support of developing social strategy of Russia.

For realization of active social policy in Tatarstan on a basis of social partnership, for work on implementing the republican Program of socio economic progress M. Shaimiev was conferred the rank of Honourable professor of Academy of labour and social relations.

On ceremony of handing the diploma of Honourable professor, the rector of academy, doctor of economics, professor N. Gritzenko declared, that Mintimer Shaimiev is one of most respected and reputable federal politicians. And addressing the President of Tatarstan, professor N. Gritzenko emphasized: "All your activity - in full view, I even would tell, that you are working in the house with transparent walls. And for this reason it is very easy for us to estimate your achievements, and achievements of Tatarstan."
