RF President Vladimir Putin issued the decree on creation of the State Register of normative legal acts of the Russian Federation subjects, which is entrusted to the RF Ministry of Justice. The Ministry will examine all legal acts prior to their signing. It became known after the meeting of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev with RF Minister of Justice Yuri Chaika held on November 13 in the Kazan Kremlin.

We should not forget that it was because of discrepancies in the constitutions of Russia and Tatarstan that the Treaty "On Delimitation of Jurisdiction Subjects and Mutual Delegation of Authorities between the State Bodies of the RF and RT" was signed, said M.Shaimiev, and so at the last meeting with Vladimir Putin we agreed to follow its clauses.

In M.Shaimiev's opinion, it is necessary to determine exclusive jurisdiction subjects of the federal center and subjects to be consolidated by the law.

Concluding the meeting, Yuri Chaika handed the highest award of the Ministry of Justice - Gold Medal - to Mintimer Shaimiev, silver medals - to Kazan Mayor Kamil Iskhakov and Chairman of the RF Constitutional Court Saifikhan Nafiyev.
