Mintimer Shaimiev: «Kul Gali`s poem belongs to number of works of all times and nations»

RT President Mintimer Shaimiev received the winners of RF State prize in the field of literature and art - creators of ballet "Legend about Yusuf"- actor Nurlan Kanetov, composer Leonid Lyubovsky and poet Renat Kharisov in the official residence at the Kazan Kremlin.

The high state award was delivered to them by Decree of RF President for developing traditions of the national epos in modern conditions of dialogue of cultures. The ceremony of rewarding took place on June12, in Day of Russia, at Georgievsky hall of the Kremlin. The prize to winners was handed by Head of State Vladimir Putin.

The winners of State prize became the guests of honor of the Kazan Kremlin, where they were welcomed by RT President Mintimer Shaimiev. He named the work of creative search of ballet creators as a huge event in life of our republic, but also of all multinational Russia. «These plots and motives are the main, they are founded in the Bible, the Al-Quran, oriental poetry», - the head of Tatarstan emphasized.

Joining to numerous congratulations which were sounded these days to address of winners, RT President once more congratulated them personally from himself, on behalf of the government and parliament of Republic, all multinational people of Tatarstan.
