President of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the work of the RF State Council meeting

On July 21, in Moscow President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev participated in the work of the Russian Federation State Council meeting under the chairmanship of the RF President Vladimir Putin.

The main topic of this meeting was the ways of co-operation between Federal and Regional executive authorities in working out the complex social and economic programs of development of regions.

At the meeting the RT President Mintimer Shaimiev told in his speech about the peculiarities of the national projects implementation in the Republic. “The object of effective implementation of the national projects needs its integration into the current system not only of the federal, but also of regional perspective planning”, he said. He also stressed the problem of under financing of some responsibilities which were given to the regional level. Mintimer Shaimiev expressed several offers on the efficiency increase of co-operation between the federal and regional executive authorities.
