Governor of Kirov oblast named Tatarstan one of the most advanced regions of Russia

The press conference with participation of President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Governor of the Kirov oblast Nikolai Shaklein took place in Vyatsky Polyany.

Answering the questions of journalists, Mintimer Shaimiev in particular, noted, that commodity circulation with the Kirov oblast makes about one and half billion roubles. As he said, this parameter could make one and half billion dollars. It is not a limit, - emphasized President of Tatarstan.

Last years by size of commodity circulation with Tatarstan the Kirov oblast is in third ten regions of Russia. Tatarstan exports to the Kirov oblast mainly consumer goods: cars, synthetic washing-up liquids, furs and fur products, cosmetics, foodstuff, synthetic rubber, diesel fuel and black oil, polyethylene, spirit, leather products, trucks, tyres. The industrial and technological output mineral fertilizers, wood, products of its processing, rolled iron of ferrous metals is imported to the republic from the Kirov oblast.

According to RT President , the Kirov oblast could achieve noteworthy results not only as industrial region. There are deposits of oil in the territory of the oblast, Mintimer Shaimiev noted, therefore it is necessary to be engaged actively in prospecting its reserves. The oil branch is complex and demands huge primary capital, - the head of republic noticed, having wished to leadership of the region of successes in development of this direction.

In his turn, Governor of the Kirov oblast, Nikolai Shaklein named Tatarstan one of the most advanced regions of Russia. In his opinion, there are significant unused reserves in the Kirov oblast including, natural resources.

During press conference Mintimer Shaimiev told also about a history of creating the World Congress of Tatars under which initiative Days of Tatarstan culture are being held in the Kirov oblast. It is necessary to reckon with spiritual needs of each people, otherwise we never become the civilized state, - the head of republic expressed opinion.
