President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated winners of republican competition «Woman of the year»

On the eve March 8 the festive concert celebrating the winners of republican competition «the Woman of year» took place at "Pyramida" cultural entertaining complex. Under the settled tradition, representatives of the fair half of mankind were congratulated by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

In a nomination «Example of year» the winners became director of children-youth sporting school "Privolzhanka", vice-president of RT Federation of art gymnastics Lilia Shafeyeva and the deserved machine operator of agriculture of RT, tractor operator Vasilya Shamsutdinova from Sabinsk region. Memorable diplomas and flowers were handed by the well-known racer from "KAMAZ -MASTER" team Vladimir Chagin. The winners of republican competition in a nomination «Leader and public figure» became the general director of Agency on development of business in RT, the deputy of RT State Council Gulnara Sergeyeva and the vice-president of RT Public chamber, the leader of youth movement «My (We)» Victoria Cherkesova. They were congratulated by the head of republican parliament Farid Mukhametshin. As he said, March 8 is «a holiday of spring, the sun and flowers». «These days men admire you, thank for a life. Long-life to you and happiness», - with such wish RT Chairman of State Council addressed to women.

In a nomination «Culture and spirituality» titles of the winners were given to the teacher of arts school №2 Vera Fyodorova and the pro-rector on study of Nizhnekamsk municipal institute, the candidate of pedagogical sciences, Professor Razia Sakhipova.

The winners in a nomination "Business - lady" became individual entrepreneur Elena Simonovich from Agryz and Golnur Safina from Alekseevsky region They were celebrated by the first deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov. He noted, that today women become more successful than men in political and enterprise activity. «In our republic there are a lot of successful women, they are distinguished with sense of duty, diligence, skill to finish business up to a logic end, - he said. - It would be desirable to wish our men that they corresponded to this high level».

Winners of republican competition «the Woman of year» were greeted by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev. The head of republic expressed sincere gratitude to mother of seven children Valentina Petrova. As President said, she is a true embodiment of image of a woman - mother of all multinational Tatarstan. Mintimer Shaimiev said warm words also to the art director of Kazan choreographic school, the national actress of Russia, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan Ninel Yultyeva whose 80-years anniversary was marked one of these days at the theatre of opera and ballet. «It is the person who all life has served high art. And today, despite of all complexities and peripetias of a life, she in direct and figurative sense stands strong on foots», - the President of Tatarstan emphasized.

Congratulating representatives of the fair half of mankind, Mintimer Shaimiev noted, that the holiday March 8 always personifies arrival of spring and warmth. «March 8 is a real test for all of us, - the President noticed. - This day makes men such like they should be, and women remain such like they are by nature». The head of republic wished all women of Tatarstan the good, joy and happiness.
