Mintimer Shaimiev: “To give all land to investors in the nearest 5 years is a real task”

To strike the keynote of agriculture all over Russia is within Tatarstan’s reach. This is the conclusion to be drawn from the results of Mintimer Shaimiev’s visit to the Spassky and Alekseevsky districts of the republic.

On the whole, there are prospects before Tatarstan agriculture. We should just change methods of countryside development, deeper analyse what we have, determine prospective aims and move forward purposively.

Mainly, successful future of agriculture in Tatarstan is connected (and it is not a secret for a long time) with investors. “It makes me happy that that there are more and more owners of the land”, Mintimer Shaimiev underlined and added that in the Spassky and Alekseevsky districts more than a half of the land is in hands of investors. Thus, in the nearest five years all the land can be in hands of investors, this is a real task, but, the head of the republic is sure, everything should be done sensibly.
