Tatarstan is ready to switch to a new system of social support

On August 26, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev met with Chairman of the Board of the Russian Pension Fund Gennady Batanov.

According to Mintimer Sahimiev, the main task for the organisations of social protection is provision of full account of citizens subject to pensiona and other payments. The most important is to make no mistakes and not to forget anyone, the President said. Social support has always been paid due attention, and now, in the light of reforming the system of privileges, the pension organisations face new tasks.

Talking with journalists, Gennady Batanov underlined his confidence in the fact that the issue of creation of the data base of citizens receiving privileges would be settled down and no one woulb be left out.

Gennady Batanov noted that the Tatarstan branch of the Pension Fund is one of the leading among the subjects of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was attended by Head of the RT President’s Administration Ekzam Gubaidullin, RT Deputy Prime Minister Zilya Valeyeva, Head of the RT branch of the RF Pension Fund Airat Shafigullin.
