The president of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev is declined to connect a victory of the deputy of the State Duma from Communist Party fraction Gennady Khodyrev who had collected in the second round of elections to the governor in the Nizhniy Novgorod oblast more of 60 percents of votes with communist doctrine.

"In this case the voters rendered trust to Khodyrev's personality. Irrespective of the party belonging he in due time when was at authority in the oblast, had shown to Nizhnegorod residents the power to work ", stated on Monday Mintimer Shaimiev in the interview to "Interfax ".

By words of Tatarstan leader, the Nizhniy Novgorod oblast having the most strong industrial potential, for last years " because of unreasoned pseudo-reformatory actions " by former regional authorities had lost more, than other "heavyweights".

"Low activity of voters and results of voting became direct reflection of the remains or, as though I have told, crumbs of trust of oblast inhabitants to local authorities", emphasized Mintimer Shaimiev.
