Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev visited Mendeleyevsky district

On July 31, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev visited Mendeleyevsky district. The visit started with an opening of the 19-bed infectious division of the Mendeleyevsky Central Hospital. The building is equipped with laboratory facilities. Then the President got acquainted with the course of reconstruction of city utilities, realisation of the real estate mortgage programme. Last year 32 families received new flats under the programme in Mendeleyevsk. Later, the President took part in putting in an extruded foam polystyrene production in OAO “Chemical Plant named after Karpov”.

“Times of despair are in the past, we’re entering the final straight”, the President marked at the end of the visit.
